OK - off we go!
Where the number of parts in a kit is not high, I prefer to often just cut them all out at the beginning - which is what I did here.
There are a total of 28 parts in this kit - which for an individual bird from Johan is high - and they took about 4 hours to cut out.
Ensure that you read the instructions through before starting - there are two parts with cut lines that should NOT be cut at this stage.
Picture 1 (bottom of post) - The parts before cutting them out.
Picture 2 (below) - Everything cut out. I sometimes use a ziplock packet to keep the pieces in before I use them.
Picture 3 (bottom of post) - The slots NOT TO BE CUT OUT are marked in yellow!
Assembly of the model (except for the head) looks to follow the standard methods used by Johan in his previous models.
