Stared doing some work on the cuppola. It is a petal design.
I used a quilling mold to help shape the curvature
The results:
It looked a little off center so I am trying something with steel shot and rare earth magnets.

very lightly dampened and placed in the quilling mold then filled with the shot:
The rare earth magnets help exert an outward force on the part:
I will check in a few days to see if it works.
