Your build is excellent...and Heinkel's model is awesome looking.
I have no idea if this submarine design is as Jules Verne envisioned, but I think the Rudder position (ahead and below the prop) would be quite ineffective.
I'd say there would be difficulty yawing the ship and she would want to roll when the rudder is applied.

The part error you mentioned, may be something that the Author could fix...?
