A bit of the P-38, a bit of the Stranraer.
1st, the Stranraer. All the fuselage ribs are made. Im planing to include one or two sets of fuselage spars, all in the first sheet of parts, and print it. If everything ok, then I'll start the second sheet. This one would include the fuselage skin. and maybe the tail, depending of the space.
2nd, the Lightning. I started the assembly. It's almost obligatory to assemble first the main wing spar and the piece 5. But the main spar is too small. The internal reinforcements sheet is 5% too small. I supouse that I made a mistake rescaling, but with the quarantine, I don't have the originals at hand. Anyway, the only important part is the main spar, the rest can be corrected just cutting the parts with a small black border.
The plastic parts in the picture are two fuel tanks. Checking Wikipedia, Robin Olds made escort and bombing missions, so maybe I'll install two bombs instead of the fuel tanks.
