I am curious if anyone created tabs or joiner strips for the fuselage skin connections
and used only one former at each joint?
Or is the butt joint approach ideal?

I built It twice -- the X-15A-2, and then modified a version into the pre-stretched 77761. Both times, I used the bulkhead formers and butt-joined the sections. Worked great both times. The bulk of the fuselage is just a long tube, and the chines hide a lot....
