Well...with quite a bit of struggle (I'm spoiled by the fit of my recent SPAD), the fuselage is going together. Multiple formers do not match the skins so I have been wrapping them with thin strips of masking tape to make them a bit bigger. I don't know if it's my cutting or not. I've never had this issue with previous Marek kit's I've built.
You can also see there are some really complex shapes on this puppy and, in the end, it really does come together. I'm especially impressed with the rear lower scoop under the aft engine. It was super complicated and hard for me to figure out how it was all going to fit. But when I started test-fitting, it then made sense. Pretty incredible, really. I'm at a loss how the interior will fit but I'll make it work.
Dang...it's a large ship! I've seen the real one in person and it's a beast.
