Clear sheet may be cheap, but I have yet to find the right clear sheet that works best for me, or a source to get it.
I think this may be my biggest problem! lol

I tried a similar method using a heat gun to heat plastic which I pulled down over the canopy plug.
I had difficulty holding the plastic and pulling it down evenly.

If I make any more of these (and can't get my vacuformer working) I'll try your suggestion!
