I always had a fascination with this airplane ever since I built a plastic model of it when I was a young child ( I think it was a Heller in 1/100 scale ). Looked super cool.
This build is of the original booklet I purchased from Poland company Answer.
There have been numerous builds of this exact model such as:
SNCASO SO.9000 Trident / Answer / 1:33
or
TRIDENT de ANSWER au 1/33
and many more on other forums.

and in 1:50 scale:
Sud- Ouest 9050 Trident & NORD GRIFFON 1500-2
However, this build is a familiarization build for an up coming repaint by Gary ( MacSongLi )
The reason for the repaint is two fold.
1- the original Answer version is a boring monochromatic grayish looking model with no panel lines, no external detail ( other than the poor excuse for the air brakes on top ).
2- I got the impression that us "minions" are getting kind of bored with my series of Soviet experimental jets ( No Russian collusion here
). So how about some western experimental jets?
Ones I am done with the original version, I will launch the repainted one later on.
lastly, on the technical aspect, the model is of the SNCASO 9050 and not the 9000 as stated on the cover page. For those that tend to look for the visual differences, look at the landing gear. The 9000 was short legged while the 9050 had much taller landing gear to accommodate the missile under the fuselage.
Pics soon.
