DD-793 update
Hi Folks;
Been quiet of late, because work is being done. The mock-up got as far as it was intended to go and the actual prototype is in progress. The stack caps were a nightmare. The covers are no mistake. They are on the ship to keep weather and critters out, the grid is underneath. Here are some pictures. Some have the mock-up for comparison. The turrets will be left off for much later so small parts can be addressed and they won't be in the way. The gun director now rotates. When the turrets go in they will rotate and elevate. Pretty small packages, those. The other photos are USS Susquehanna. The picture is very poor because the dust cover raises havoc with reflections, and is too heavy for one person to remove.The red canister is my pet shop vac,Dewey.
