Regarding the post above, going upstairs from the main entrance of the museum building is tricky, the easiest way to see the exhibits beyond the entrance hall is to go back to the overhead map view and click on the blue highlighted passageways in the middle or back of the museum.
If you have the time take a virutal drive out into the countryside, much of which has probably not changed since the late 1930's to get an impression of the hugeness and emptiness of Mongolia. In the US, only a few places in Texas have given me the same impression of open space.
