Hi Jan!

Yes, I attached a picture. It is from a later vessel from the 18th century, but nevertheless shows it nicely.

You have the bow-lines on the other square sails but not on the mizzen topsail. They are used to haul the sail taught when sailing close hauled.

Hope that clarifies what I mean...
