The mounting of the secondary guns up forward was gonna be a problem for me because i couldn't decide if I wanted them in a stowed position or ready for action. Swinging them outboard would make them vulnerable to damage as I progress with the build. Only one answer to this, They need to rotate.
I constructed this setup to sandwich the guns and provide a complete assembly for the whole shooting match (pun intended). this worked out great and each gun pivot pin went rigth through and into the rigid foam below. It sits there solidly.
