'De-clawed' was one of the reasons GrayC became an indoor cat. When it becomes obvious a female cat is going to hang about, I take them in to be fixed. I certainly don't need kittens about. When I took her to be fixed, they said she had a scar on her belly that might be from having already been fixed, but the scar wasn't in a typical location. They won't open them up to check, nor would they do any non-invasive test to check. They said that it was 80% likely that she had been fixed.


I had already been concerned about a roaming cat not having claws, but with a 20% likelihood that she could have kittens, I decided she needed to be an indoor cat
