This is another in a continuing series of the Soviet Air Force Suchoi fighter planes.
I have two Suchoi-7, one Suchoi-9 and one Suchoi-15. I also built a first designation Suchoi-9 ( looks like a German Me-262 ) and a first designation Su-15, as well as a 2 seater Suchoi-22UMK and a Su-35. Now to complete that series, I will build a Suchoi-11.
Some links to the above models I built.

A bit background. The Suchoi-11 was intended to be a large interceptor based on the Suchoi-9. It would two large air to air missiles to intercept formations of heavy NATO bombers in case of incursions or invasion of the USSR. As such, the aircraft was a bit larger than the SU-9.
However, as it turned out, the Suchoi-11 was just good enough in its current form and a decision was made to improve the aircraft further by keeping the wings and tails of that aircraft, but have it powered by two jet engines with side intakes, living a very large nose area for a radar dish ( but that is another plane ).
The Su-9 and Su-11 have the same tailed delta configuration as the Mig-21 family, but is somewhat larger and intended as an interceptor only.
Here are a few views and reference of the Su-11 aircraft
The model is produced by the Polish company Angraf.
More on the build soon.
