Today I continue with the wings. They are built over a box framework, to which I added some balsa spars to stiffen it, and also to make a stronger joint at the wing root. The original just has the boxes butt joined to the central fuselage frame, a design that I didn't really trust. The spars in the two wing halves are placed in different positions, so that they can go through the fuselage framework without mutual hindrance. This method seems to have made a strong joint without any flex. An unscheduled stress test was done by having the plane make a wing tip landing after a fall from the table; it survived
