Hi Greg...thanks for looking.
I actually pre-cut them a tiny bit before I glued it all together. I think I can then very easily swipe a sharp xacto and remove the holes. I sometimes find that if the piece I'm trying to glue around round forms has holes in it, I get weird edges and tucks. I am trying this "new" way to see if the smooth form will be made, the paper's memory is solid, and that when I cut the cockpits out things remain smooth.
