Finished the base. It was very straight-foward, the only thing I had to modify was the front side pieces, where I applied the same techinique I used to join the surface parts so the gluing spot for the nameplate could be also flat. This allowed me to have a clean look without bumps on the nameplate.
The last thing I need to do before building the tall corridor is to glue the main hall/ wings floor onto the base.
