I do know about that thunder fighter. I have it and built it. I have to rebuild it. I had some problems with the instructions and mine looks like crap, but like I said, I plan on building a better on later.

I have line drawings of all of the verients of the thunder fighter (and a few that I have been designing my self). I used those as a guide. I started with two outlines of the plane (as if I were drawing the top or bottum of the plane). I drew out where every thing needed to be placed and started making the pieces and glueing them on.
As for designing the planes, I just hand draw everything, or use paint shop to "cut and paste" what I need.
