I print them on standard sized 8.5x11 inch paper, using fairly light stuff, usually Wausau Exact Bristol 67-pound, which is .008"/0.2mm thick, and setting the Adobe Acrobat to "fit to printable area." This results in an airplane of roughly 1/90 scale for the Zero 52.
I'm eager to hear from other, more computer literate folks on how they deal with them.

I also print them on US Letter size stock. This results in a nice sized model appropriate to the level of detail they have IMHO.
