not so ouch!

We're getting there, even managed to play around with "Annie"....adding textures (ish)...Here's a question for anyone, how do you add textures or details to metasequia/pepakura paper things?..I've seen some incredible details added but am completely lost how to do it.

Here's a link to the Spaceships Away site Spaceship Away
there's samples of the comic as well as the centre spreads sadly not the cutaway of the Zylbat.I like the look of it but at £7.50 an issue the site is as close as I'm going to get I think.

oops! forgot

I forgot I had a seperate thread running for Annie
I know Gixergs has been keeping tabs on this but for everyone else...
Have started to add some textures to her, but got waylaid by the Zylbat design.....
No more plaster on wrist, so its full steam ahead again (well nearly, still aches quite a bit)...

Glad to see you back in form.
From an earlier mail I think I understood that you design these models mainly as plastic 'hard models'. Hope I was wrong - can (and will) you also develop them as paper models? hey are so much more interesting than alll these later Trekkie-type shapes...

Thanks teamsters, still having problems with texturing, but I will keep at it.
In answer to your question Diderick, I design them with a view to making plastic versions, but they are drawn as paperformers first..
Bit of a delay on working on these cos I am trying to get some of my plastic model stuff finished for a Display at a local SCI FI show next month.

Still working out paperkit (lots of bits you know)
Anybody know where you can get clear paper from

you can laugh at it , but i have used this for windows before. There are other brands available , just check at your local convenience store

and no , I don't , random testing doesn't mean sampling in my job.
