[Neptune]

Worked on both the 350th TOS Enterprise and the 47" TOS Enterprise. I paid someone to create the interiors, but they fell short, so I used two different models at the same scale and came up with a whole, even though both needed work. At any rate, I should have builds done tomorrow. I'm going to move forward with both builds while I worj on the resin kits.

Well, I've hosted several TOS kits at my blog and at 4shared, but I'm currently working on molding and casting the 50" refit and working up a kit of the 350th styrene and resin version for a friend, not to mention working on new detail parts for the 350th and the 47" TOS Enterprise, while working on projects and kits for other vendors. So, I've been a bit busy to say the least. I've done some work on several of the TOS era card models, but have nothing worth showing right now. I work on the card models in my free time and there's not a lot of that right now.

i just dug up my ancient copy of FAMOUS SPACESHIPS OF FACT AND FANTASY...ans how to build them - magazine.
its still pretty cool even today.
sounds like you got a lot on your table.
still excited by the 47'' pm of the tos 1701!
have you ever thought of vaccuforming smaller models?

I've thought of doing a lot of things, unfortunately there are only so many hours in the day and I do have to spend some time with my family. Between the card models, the styrene models, the resin models, the electronics, the brass etch and laser cutting.... There's a lot on my plate right now. I have a prop I have to finish for one of the fan films and I'm working on several other things. I just thought that since I was working on the two TOS ships I'd update this thread, since the card models are directly related to the resin and vacuum formed versions.

Most of the fan films have their own prop guy, I'm just helping out a friend on one thing, right now, but may be doing more in the future. I can say that the fully built, painted, detailed and lit 50" Refit will be seen in an up-coming fan film.

BTW, which of the TOS card models that haven't been done yet are you most interested in. I'm looking a Dreadnaught and a TOS Freighter, as well as a couple of TOS set on my computer right now? So, what would you like to see next?

1701 big.
klingon d-7
romulan bird of prey
gaurdian of time gate thingy
the set interiors of the 1701
a pilot phaser cannon
a pilot phaser rifle
klingon communicator
a vulcan harp
human cube essentials from andromedanians
va-al head.
i guess thats all i can think of,
what do you think should be next?

OK, well.... I hadn't got your list yet, so I pulled out several things that were close to done and worked on them a bit more. The first 4 pics are templates for a TOS Command Delta. You can use construction paper, or some form of gold material and with a little work come up with a nice wall hanging, or resize it for larger cardstock, laminate a couple of layers together to give it some thickness and go over the while border with a sharpie. The rest of the photos show what I worked on finishing today. I've got a couple more that are close to being done, but I don't want to spoil the surprise.
