Thanks it's not as high-res as I would like it to be, but should make for a nice build. There aren't to many issues with it, so it should be an easy one to finish. I've recolored and retextured the original model, but want to do a bit more. I've worked on the 47" TOS Enterprise off and on for some time. I'm still not all together happy with the textures and the unfold on it has been tedius to say the least. It's not going to be an easy build, but should make for a brilliant looking ship when built. I've hosted the Obelisk by Rick Merks once already, but wanted to do a nice sized unlined version. This one should measure out at 10". The Freighter is untextured and there is not material data for texturing it, though I do have the original md3 textures, still I'll have to texture it separately, so it might have to wait.

I worked on the Dreadnaught a bit more today. I changed the nacelle dome texture and will be cutting out and clearing up the windows to make them more prominant as well as coming up with a better texture for the port and starboard details on the centerline of the engineering hull. Finally, I want the dishes to look a bit more like copper, as with the original.

Though a bit blocky, I still think this will turn out to be a decent build. I'll be including some graphics and blueprints as part of the download. Any idea what size this should be? All suggestions are welcome.

Dude, it's so easy. If you play with the software and don't take it to seriously, hell it took me years to learn one thing, even after I asked people over at another forum. They would actually charge me, to send me an unfinished model and then laugh at me. This is the only reason why I give my work away, to give something back to the community and to have people not have to deal with that kind of crap.

Actually, I've been meaning to do a simple tutorial for some time, I just haven't had the time to sit still and do it. I will get around to it as soon as I wrap up a few things that I have to get done.

i understand the honor in that, and we are very grateful, those of us who build your models. i know sometimes its like a carp pond, snapping them up and waiting for the new one, impatiently, but its really because we like them so much, the good intentions gratiftude are hidden by the excitement and anticipation.
thank you again.

Well thanks, I really appreciate that. I got some more done one the Dreadnaught and the obelisk today, but mostly on the dreadnaught. See the photos below and note the changes. I'm going to release several different textured versions of the Dreanaught as well as a close approximation of the ISS Tiberius that I worked on with Professor Moriarity several years ago. I've got most of the unfold done and should finish that up soon.

I'd look forward to that. I have always wanted to give back in some way, but I have not the desing information to contribute, and have instead settled for comments of encouragement to those who offer us so much.

Let me know when you do that, as I'd enjoy creating something to share with you some day.

Thanks would GROK, in the way the word was meant to be used...
