I have question. Is there any of your modelers able to make this models for me and if so how much would you change for the building? I'm not trying to rip off UHU out of his model. wc

Hello there. Just printed this template and im ready to start building and the instructions are not very clear. Dont really know where to start? Does this needs to have a cardboard structure to glue stuff in there for the begining?

Also i seem to notice that there are no threads in to glue one piece to another.. how does this work?

Im sorry.. iv built the millenium falcon papercraft but its nothing like this... can anyone help me? thank you

You should start with the inner structure (the black parts on the first page of the instructions, also see build photos on the model page, in this thread or in this one: X-wing in 1/48, another one)
The missing tabs - I used edge gluing for my build (you apply the glue just to the edge of the paper - it's stronger than you may think), or you can cut a paper strip from a separate sheet of paper and glue that from backside (where needed).

This may sound a bit rude, but if you are a beginner, it would be perhaps better to find an easier model to practice on first.

Well, iv read the entire thread and open all other reference threads but still have some doubts.

What happens if i build this disreagarding your thickness recomendations? Everything with the thickness of the original paper.

I still dont understand how someone know where to start this. there is no information. All photos i see is of something already half build. im taking my time, wanna do this right but just dont know where to start.i know its that first page of black stuff but its like chinese all that information)

Il keep studying this. thank you

I started this with inner structure of front part of fuselage and then wrap it with outer plating. You end up with this:

Then I assembled cockpit and put it in:

Then I assembled inner structure for back of the fuselage, glue it to the that assembled front part of the fuselage and wrap it with outer plating

Then I assembled droid plate and backplate and attached it to the fuselage.
