hehe thx for advices... here are some beta pages for 1/3rd scale chess... just the board.... figures are to complex for this scale... if u like... il post 1:1 scale... im working on the franklin and merchantman these few days...

1/3 scale would work for me (I have miniature chess pieces from an old travel chess set) but I'll wait for a full size version as well!

Does any one know of a paper French Lardy Staunton Chess set model? I use to have one a friend got me when they were is France. wc

WC, there is a book by Kell Black with John Saunders that has a paper chess set that looks a lot like the Staunton chess pieces. The pieces are die cut in the book. Here is a listing from the Barnes & Noble website.
