Fasa!!!
Quote:
I do not recall this ship but the FASA designs were often excellent. The D-10 was as Trek as it gets and the Orion Lightning and Wanderer class were so liked that they were used as background data vessels in the Next Generation, if you watched closely. The Gorn ships really looked like what one would have expected; tough, solid, and sophisticated. The Winged Defender has been made not a paper kit, as was the White Wing. There were some great designs that have been forgotten. My appreciation for your choices as FASA designs are too long neglected. By the way; liked the Orion ship you did and tried printing it. Have you built it yet? Any design or build thread material? Again, my appreciation!

Images found...
I found some images of the FASA ships that I spoke of last post:
The Gorn Cruiser [MA-12] and battleship [BH-2]. These were fairly simple designs but looked very "gornish" to me...

Ain't easy being green...
Here's the two Orion ships that FASA developed:
They were liked enough by the Star Trek producers that they were used as graphics in the background plates on monitors during there first and second season.

Designed as a dish best served cold...
Here's the excellent D-10 that has been forgotten:
It was a smooth design and would have easily made a nice edition, and competition, to the Constitution II. My only complaint with this design was that it didn't have the nav deflector and hangar deck hull-piece of the D-7. I would have added that.

Interesting...

TAS had a large shuttle but I think you did that one already, right? Ironically, given your recent Orion model and my sharing the FASA Orion models, I think that long range shuttle came from the TAS episode "Pirates of Orion" (though they miss-pronounced it or-EE-on in the track!)
