Ooh, I'd been looking for a model of that one for awhile. I always thought it was a pretty cool design.

Stupid edit function only lasts a couple days . . .
Anyway, something I noticed about the cockpit sections is that there's this band missing in your CG model: I probably would have mentioned it when we were talking before, but I just noticed it. |

Thanks all for the interest! I think the unfolding and testbuild will go quick, so we could have a basic white version out soon.
That one will be added later, I couldn't figure out a quick way to make the recess and leave the band there, so I just cut it whole away. And you couldn't notice it before, the model changed quite a bit since our discussion back then, so don't worry Btw. there should be 2 mails from me in your mailbox by now (concerning the X-wing, I'd like to figure out what went wrong with the US letter format PDF). |

With the cockpit framework and the engine glow in place the front and back views really look like the ship I know and love.
By the way, I've almost got the greeble map completed for the Otana. I'll try to get it finished before you get to the side walls. With your permission, I'd also like to work on an interior for the upper and lower decks and the cockpit and hallway. My memory is a bit fuzzy on what we discussed regarding that last time, so forgive me if I already asked. About the X-wing: I think it was just my browser, because the file downloaded just fine. |
