I haven't found the original site yet, but, I have found a foam and paper PpSh 41 referred to. Put together buy a polish gent, the images in the link give a few good clues as to the construction of the drum magazine.

Foam guns from Poland

I hope that in the interim while I continue looking, these images help your project.

Kind and Respectful Regards, Uyraell.

Thanks Uyraell. I'm still hunting the web for a paper model version to get the round magazine. I've found a lot of guns so far but not that one.

I think that the site you are looking for is Gamepaper which was over at blogspot but which has now been removed possibly because the designer has gone commercial...

I'm still searching, but I have come up with a couple of useful images of the real magazine.
My thought here is that these images may be of use in engineering a paper model drum mag, and thus further the Rapid-Firer project.

I hope they help.

Kind and Respectful Regards, Clif52, Uyrael.

Simon my friend, Thank you! I think you're correct about the name.
A rapid look for the site shows it gone.

Kind and Respectful Regards Simon my friend, Uyraell.

Thanks for the info. Do any of you have the original web address? Maybe I could find it on the Wayback Machine.

I just checked via Way Back Machine. Unfortunately, it has no record, and says the site is not on the live web either. I'm guessing that we'll have to keep searching for alternative sources of info.

Kind and Respectful Regards Clif, Uyraell.

I'll have to keep looking for a paper model of a round ammo magazine. I'm a graphic designer but not a 3D modeler. If I had enough photos I might be able to come up with something. I've built from foamcore and styrofoam and added cardstock details on top. I'll keep doing research.
