Jim, your picture answers my other questions, but I have another. There is a section on the parts pages labeled "rear thruster cone". Can you show me a picture of that part of the model?

And now to stimulate your interest, I have also recolored the original parts pages you posted at a higher resolution, and will be building it very soon.

I also spent a few hours monkeying around in Meta and I think I have captured the essence of it. Lots of work left to do of course, and there's all those other projects I already have on the go, but these ships are just too cool.

And oh yeah, I contacted the guy that did the original 3D model of the retroprise and got his permission to make a paper model from it. When I get started in earnest on these two I'll start a new thread.

Don't forget to post more pictures of the Klingon ship.

Steve

Sort of. Like I said I've been busy with many projects. I have printed out the Klingon model to build, and it's on the top of my pile, but I keep looking at the main fuselage and I think it's needs more cleaning up, so last night I started refining it to my liking.

I finished off one project the other day, and am almost finished another, then I'll start attacking the build of the Klingon ship. Once I've built the present version that will help me complete and refine the 3D work in Meta, then it's adding detail, textutes, etc. etc. etc.

And I still need to finish that Normandy model too. Why do I do this to myself?

Steve
