Oh, and another thought - in an SF story I wrote years ago as a Dan Dare rip-off - er, I mean, homage - a large spaceship had a "lower bridge" for close manouvering. This could be a function for the "greenhouse" nose on the lower nacelle secondary hull - and the sensors (probably telescopes and sextants!) could be behind the glass nose! The shuttle doors could be at the rear, as per the TV show...

That was my vision, although we could make different versions. Nothing is cast in stone remember, it's just paper

A little progress

Hey there, Just so you know, I never forget a good project.

The 3D work is pretty well done, just needs detailing and texturing. Oh yeah, and then unfolding and all that, but hey, one thing at a time.

I've no idea what that would look like. Got any suggestions or references?

Looks cool. I can always make them optional variations. The "grills" you indicated on the tail and forward 'fin' are in the plan already along with the wing grills. I like the lighter green coloring in what you've called the sensors. It would look great with green LED's in there. Hmmmmmmm.
