its a great subject, the retro ships are intensly fascinating....
i am still a begginer at designing paper models, but i put out what i can.
i was hoping that others would join in and go ahead and make better ones, because the subject should be done.
we did it once on a rocky jones ship,
someone asked for one, i hand drew a crummy version and posted it , and then another modeller designed a really great version.
i get a little tired after a while and forget obvious details, and i dont write out instructions unless it really has to be said.
i figure that paper modellers are pretty ingenius and can make it so, even if there are just the basic components to start with.

Looks great

This is a great looking interpretation of a classic Trek ship. You've done a wonderful job on it.

So many models, so little time....

nip and tuck

thank you,
you have to nip and tuck a little here and there, but it looks good when finished.
i will work on redrawing a lot of the parts and making them the drab color in paint.

I'm looking forward to see this done, it's a cery cool retro design. It really looks like something that you would see in a 50's Sci-Fi version of Star Trek!

BTW, did you ever see the Steampunk Star Trek episodes?

it does doesnt it?
i really like the retro trek look!
there is a version in the downloads i did, but i am going to go over it with paint. i used colored paper to print an outline on and the scanned it for most of the parts.
if you want to take a crack at it i would really like to see what you come up with!
