Question Is there a good "Defiant" model out there?

I have the model from Ninjatoes, a very little model from Zosho and another no-name-mini-model (from a game, I guess, judged by the texture) on my harddisk - and I donエt really like any of them.
Does anyone know about other Defiant-models?

Greetings, Christine

Hi Christine,

your listing covers my list defiant models. Ninjatoes apears to be good base: Aside form the basic texture there are two variants available. So it might be a good start for further enhanced detailing and retexturing.

Alternatively a game based model with texture might be a possibility, e.g. taking a model from ST-Legacy.

Best regards

P.S.: This might be the wrong thread but your voyager model IS breathtaking

If you can still find it, this designer had one: ペーパーモデル

There is one in the E-gift shop: The Lower Hudson Valley Paper Model E-Gift Shop - Photo Gallery - Science Fiction

There are 2 different Defiant models on Ninjatoes' site and they differ not only in art, but some detail parts are different as well.

Thanks for the response!

legion: the model on the japanese site isnエt a link anymore, but if I look at the picture of the model, especially the "nose" - well, thatエs not exacly what I would call a good model... And I do have the model from E-gift shop already on disk.

As I see it, it would not hurt to have another model available out there... may be I just make my own from scratch...

Thanks again, Christine

If you do decide on scratchbuilding , I found this at the Sketchup 3D Warehouse. Seems like the artist modeled it from blue prints. So it should give you a good head start.

e-gift shop

The one at the e-gift shop is the best one I know of.
I can't wait to see what you do with this ship.

That would be the one I redrew for Ninjatoes and that is also available from his site. Thanks for the praise, BTW.

The redrawn versions of Ninjatoes' original are definitely your best bets. I've tried repeatedly to build Zosho's tiny little version and it always ends badly....
