Today i think i did a little progress. At list i think i am done with the most difficult parts of the kit,the small curved ones!!!All flat pieces were laminated to the apprpriate thikness and then the sides were pasted. This way i made the surfaces more steardy to work on them as i had a lot of small curved pieces to glue on them.As about them i think i achieved a better fit mostly because they were bigger. The V shaped piece (the internal) was laminated to the desired thiknes then the lamination layers were deeply cutted in desired positions bended and then the external piece was glued. This created some wrinkles in the internal piece at the points that was bended that i think could have been avoided if i had cut even deeper. They are not visible though.

So it started geting shape.I used the supporters for the rear cover of the pod but in such small scale i should had in mind the thickness of the paper!!I had to chop off parts of them to make the cover fit.

Smile

This is what i made today. The pieces for the main body were laminated to appropriate thickness and then the side parts were glued in place around it.
The small piece is quite complicated to make by laminating so i made it folding it (The hardest part to fold was the only so far to be made this way )!!Tomorrow i hope i will assemble together all i have by now and add all detailing parts to the body.

That's it!!!!It's finally finished.
The rest of the kit was quite easy to build.Even the nacelles which looks frustrating are very straightfoward once you understand which piece goes where.
Generally the instuctions made my life difficult. Not only at the scale i was working it was difficult to see the printed numbers(sometimes even the pieces!!!) and the numbers on the image style instructions were very difficult to be recognized (at least in my occasion that i converted them in pdfs) also the instruction show the step 6 again as part of step 9 but with different numbers of parts!
Tomorrow i will make the stand. Not the one included with the kit but a kitbashed converted one.I will post the complete project.

SPACEAGENT 9 what do you mean by improvements?what i would like to had built better?(Definately the curved pieces of the pod.)or what i would like to add to the kit?(Nothing in this scale.)
This thead was starded not because i had something exceptional to show but because after a quick search in the forum i did, i didn't find a thread dedicated to this vessel.
THank you all you posted or just had a look
