welp thats over with, too bad.
someday there might ba library of papermodels and some kind of affordable subscription that makes everybody happy.

The point is that designers do get something from their free models if they choose - traffic to their websites where they have them posted. We honor that request by linking to their sites rather than copying the file and re-hosting it here. We already have nearly 2000 models hosted here by designers that didn't care to host them on their own.

ok .
i keep missing the point about the for free part, but i do understand the storage here problem and the going to have a look see at the author's site. is it wrong to make a new thread with links to the sites as a reference , or is there already one to add to or already what it should be and up to date in existance here?

There is the entire "Found On The Net" section. A tacked Thread at the top of that with links copied there, as well as the Links bar to the right of the "Downloads" bar.

i have been looking thru all those links,
i guess i havent looked deep enough into this site, i took a few nights looking in the galleries and such, and never dreamed all those links are there! thanks again for cluing me into that.
