Thunder Fighter Squadron

Greetings to all and to all hello.

I just finished refitting all of my Thunder Fighters (except for the scratch built on) with the Landing Gear Strut to finish each model off.
I would like to share with all of you a few photos of my squadron.

Thumbs up

Very fine Thunderfighter Squadron you have there, Rhaven Blaack.

Perhaps it is my sense of style, but I find the Forward-Swept-Wing versions to be the most attractive. The Stealth TF and the grey FSW TF catch my eye the most, in fact made me think of a Stealth FSW TF.

I really like the pictures of the TF Squadron , the models look extremely good.

Kind and Respectful Regards Rhaven Blaack my friend, Uyraell.

I too have always liked the FSW concept. I came up with the original idea when I had seen the X-29 and thought that the two together would make a great plane.
You can find the Thunder Fighter ( and the rest of the add-on kits) here:
PaperAviation - Faszination Kartonmodellbau

Here is the direct link to the Thunder Fighter
Buck Rogers Thunderfighter - Modellbaubogen

As for the Stealth Thunder Fighter, I used this diagram as a guide:

If you decide to make a stealth FSW-TF, I would like to see photos.

If you want, you can mix and match the kits to make your own concept of the Thunder Fighter

Many Thanks to you Rhaven Blaack my friend.

I always liked the X29 too. It seemed a good way forward, in terms of aerodynamics.
After all: if FSW had worked in metal in 1943/44 (Ju287) there seemed no reason it could not work even better with modern materials and construction techniques in the case of the X29.

I have truly very much enjoyed watching your Thunder Fighter Family Project evolve.
Not only has the topic been very interesting, the results have been simply astounding in so many ways.

Thank you for the links!

Kind and Respectful Regards Rhaven Blaack my friend, Uyraell.

You are more then welcome my friend.
I look forward to seeing what kind of TF/s you come up with.

Just to let you know, the grey BSG coloured FSW-TF in the center is a scratch built model that I did well before working with Revell-fan to design and creat the FSW add-on kits.

I have to say that this whole TF project has been GREAT FUN and a real joy to work on.
