Skidoosnopro, I was thinking of rolling the legs on my next build. Oh, and I notice that there is no Northwest love from Oregon for the guy from Washington!

Well then Here comes the love to the north west I am working on replaceing the legs on this duey with rolled ones right now so you have a great Ideal . And Thanks !!!

Very nice work! If you intend on adding the storage containers, why not a small diorama? Take a look at what the late Hilber Graf did with his Dewey:

i just finished watching silent running now, and i am still moved by the movie, and dewy
loel and the whole idea.
the opening scenes are still some of the best film work i have seen.

I could not see from the pics of your build, how did you build the arm attachment point? On Deuy I recessed that area even with seam line and then lengthened the legs, using the orange leg band as a cover. I did not roll the legs because I was making a "quick" build, and I didn't think out the angles.... Anyway. Huey I printed and built at 100% (then my wife claimed him ). Deuy I printed at 75%, as close as I could figure to 1:18. I just found some measurements for these guys, and I was 10% too big, so I will be rebuilding them because I am a scale snob....

MY duey is at 200% on adobe . I am not sure what you need to know abou the arm attachment point ? I Build the body as it showed and have added all the extra after the basic build . I have copys of all the things I made for him for microsoft paint if you want them ? Just let me know if I can help . Thanks

Well over the weekend when not working 12 hours shifts as a mill wright . UGH Well at least I am working. I finished up the frt grill area on Duey . All the grills are separate and glued into place and the number is cut is glued into place. I am having alot of fun with this littel guy I am thinking of weathering him also so that should be fun
