Leonidas Helmet 1.0

I built this awhile back, but it wasn't properly sized for 1:1, so I'm going to rescale it and build as I did before, only I'm going to fully fiberglass it and ass the plume on the top. I shot it with brass paint about half way through, just to see how it would look. I think the properly sized, fully fiberglassed version is going to make for a great helmet. I'll also be building the helmet of fate, but I'll start a separate thread for that.

Did you design this one yourself? I've been looking for a copy to build. I'm especially interested in the Dr. Fate helmet. I'm a big comic book fan, and I haven't seen that model available either.

Nope, Skip designed it, he just didn't send me a copy that was 1:1 Scale. Dungbeetle Designed the Helmet of Fate, but I'm going to build it, size it and fiberglass it and send it off to a friend.

Funny, I was just rescaling this to fit my head and added an inch+ to the diameter for foam.... Skip made this and it's his work and he charges for these things, so I cannot legitimately give away his work. You'll have to contact him. Unfortunately, after recent events over at another forum, I'm not currently promoting any of his models, nor am I assisting him in sales. Sorry, I can't help you there.
