here is a billy meirs saucer i am working on, steady on rim lights and pulsing ecandle top light. vaccuformed and a test trex, got the fatness right and have again simplified the model so it will be easy to build.
little micro glue hairs everywhere, its like having a dammed cat! jim |

Both models look mighty good to my eyes, Jim my friend.
The T-Rex looks very convincing, even though you say you have simplified it. Which means it is a successful model, I'd feel. The Saucer looks very neat, and fits in well with your ongoing Saucership theme. Kind and Respectful Regards Jim my friend, Uyraell.

phantom planet
this movie should have starred john agar but didnt, mostly due to the higher budget that was available.
tiny people and more hot mute chicks live on a self gravitated asteroid that is at war with some kind of puppy lizard thingys. everything is cool, except the main hero cant do anything right and i hope they throw the book at him when he gets back to earth. 1. he should have not sent his crew out to fix a hole. 2. he should have not done anything except park his rocket and wait for a rescue. 3. he should not have told the princess that he didnt love her . 4. he should not have fought his only true friend at the end, who was his only true friend for purely and totally selfish reasons that had nothing to do with our hero. 5. he should have stayed and married the mute girl. love comes few times in life and he let it slip right thru his fumbling fingers. 6. he should not have ratted on the tiney people the first time he opened his mouth after he got his helmet off on the rescue ship. in the sequel, i hope they hunt him down, in whatever home for mentally demented astronauts that see little people they lock him up in and de-gravitate him into dust. the rocket was cool though. you wont enjoy this movie. but it is well written. here is the rocket. |

Love Phantom Planet, and for just those reasons... Isn't great how the rocket steers like a car on an icy road? "We must turn into the meteor storm!" *SCREEEEEEEEEEE* "We must turn tale and run away for the chicken nugget of death!" *SCREEEEEEEEEEEEE* And what is it with the mute chicks? Hammer Studios used that in several of their monster flicks. Guess mute chicks are jotter than audio-capable chicks. Heck, it was the 50's after all. Your idea for a sequel has potential.... "Revenge of the P.O.'d tiny people This time it's personal" In 3-d of course.

yes any sequel would be good as long as he gets his.
the news today is that the wax paper velum paper background for kong's jungle looks great. i should have the new trex and the kong i drew up assembled by friday. the theater box will soon follow. card board framing under black paper. i guess that s it, i had a particularily hard day today and have to retire. jim |
