Woohoo! I figured out what the deal was yasterday, I used a different conversions utility and the program generated an .mtl and the texture and when I open it in met, then Pep, it was right there.

having a heck of a time cutting out the launch tube... I'm sure the software can do it, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to do it easiliy...

Don't waste any more time, I'll do it on the fly, just send me the file you have now with an example of the texture and I'll work that all out while you finish
up the fins. Tell me what size you want it to be length and width at the base of the fins and what the dimensions are for the launch tube.

ah, never mind, I figured it out. its tricky but do-able.
the entire fusalage and launch tube are now done.

Yeah, just kinda had to bump down airdaves ressurected post that was obviously made to knock down other posts... I have to wonder, John romeros was telling me about what a problem that he had with Air Dave and yet Air Dave posts a post that is obviously meant to run my thread down.

I just have to wonder why John and Skip and Tyler and all of these other guys have to make sure that they run my threads down.... ???

Poor simpletons, guess I intimidate them with my brilliance! Why esle would a concerted group (Clown Posse) make a concerted attempt to run someome else down?
