Impressive at any height!! Nice work. How did you apply the paint? Airbrush or brush... As smooth as it is, I would think you sprayed it.

paint

I just used dollar store art brushes, but I put several coats on really thin.
Obviously, I also used silver tone paint as well. One leg is finished,(not pictured) so one more leg and the tiny head and it's done.

It's taking awhile to do...About three times as long as it would without the paint job, but it makes the model.
And its water resistant.

...funny you should mention Tony Stark...
Wouldn't this technique make a great Iron Man armor?

And, yeah it's just paint. I'll post a close-up pic of the model, and one of the bottle I used.

The paint bottle says color factory
acrtlique
gold metalic

Here's an updated picture. I just need to finish the head and paint it. I've found that if you pain both sides the piece gets really stiff and strong when it dries. Just use light coats of paint or it'll warp your model.
Oh, and did you notice...The arms are much lighter than the rest of the model. It's because I used a different bottle to do the arms, which ran out. I just assumed the new paint would match..But sadly no it didn't.

I just have to repaint them I guess.

So, this question is probably better suited for the "for sale by owner" section of the forum, but a friend of a friend said they might like to buy it from me when it's finished.

...So, what's the legality of selling a model from a kit to another person, and how would I determin the "value" of a model?
What would YOU pay for this, if you were interested?
Luckily I wont have to ship it.

If you created the final product and can show how you worked on it from scratch and built the actual model, I would say thing it's an open question. You could ask whatever you think the work is worth and people will pay whatever they feel like paying. That's my oppinion and that doesn't mean much.
