I don't have a lot of early build photos. I'm guessing since it was my first model, I didn't have a lot of faith in my work.

Thanks, that is a damned fine job, love the addition of the screen grabs and plastic hemispheres! That's a fine looking model! Kudos on the build. Thanks for sharing!

LOL! Sorry.... So may projects, so little time.... Soon!

Frankly, I'm scanning all of the pages and changing the texture and some details. Before anyone starts tripping, I asked John first.

Good work! I built this model two years ago and had a blast. It was my first paper model and it got me hooked on the craft. See "Nautilus Submarine Disney Style" post. Sorry I don't know how to post a link to other posts yet.

Cool, I'll check into it. Don't know how I missed this post. Although the next shots are not John Leslie's ship, I did want to show some of my friends progress on the model we are working on. This is the same guy that I worked with on the 50" Refit. I need to update that thread soon as well. At any rate, I just spoke to him the other day and he said he had been working on this again. He's also working on a BB 63 Mighty Mo and, or a BB 62 New Jersey. That last shot is from the file that you've seen me work with and that comes from various places, I even found an .skp version of that file.

Add me to the audience for this one as well.

Although, it is sorta hard for me to get too worked up over a squid, the last ones that I dealt with were about six to eight inches long and went on the end of my hook to be tossed to a bunch of hungry Tuna last summer off San Pedro.

Thanks to both of you, for your interest. Here's a recent image of the work my friend has done on the Nautilus.

Looking great, Neptune. I'm glad you are incorporating the skiff/lifeboat in your design.
