As you can see, once again I forgot to take pictures, so there is only the initial one with the pieces cut out and then all put together.

I had one of those scary moments I've mentioned before while doing the centre column. basically I stuck it all together and only then realised I needed to wrap it round the support before glueing the final edge

Luckily I was able to carefully cut it open alone one of the edges, wrap it round and glue it back together, phew
This really inspires me to get more done on the different versions of the 50" Refit I've got in the works, not just the resin model, but the card model as well.

Thanks for the kind comments, I'm enjoying posting the pictures as it motivates me to keep going and not get side-tracked on something else.

I've nearly finished the first warp nacelle so should have some more photos to post later. I also had another scary moment but I'll tell you about that when I post the pictures

Well I've made some more progress and have some more photos to post

I've just about finished one of the warp nacelles and I have to say there was some really small and tricky parts. The only approach I could take was to fit a fresh blade and take my time.

The scary moment I had on this part of the assembly was that I glued the end of the tube before fitting the blue part in the front (sorry don't know what it's called). I managed to carefully slice it open and fit the part so no harm done.

Just got to finish off the final parts of this warp nacelle and then it's time to repeat for the other one

there's quite a few photos so I've split them over 2 posts, more to follow

Well it's been a while since I last posted any progress but I've finally got round to it.

I've completed the support arm for the first warp nacelle and rather than start straight on the second one, I thought I'd break with something different and make the stand. It made sense to do it now so I have somewhere to put the model when it's finished.

Right, time to do the second warp nacelle!
