ok, so fan-based material, that's good! most important, the one I like is your design also the big one is interesting, but there's something in those protruding engines... anyway, thank you for the link! I'll take a look to it

The big TF in the center is (of course) a scratch build (strictly of my own design). I have always liked the TF, and the X-29 FSW plane, and thought that the combining the two together would make an awesome plane. So when I found Martin Sanger's TF model, I built it and then scratch build my TF-FSW and gave it the designation "MK-III". Later on, I met Revell-fan (over and Zealot) and we started working on all of the expansion kits for the Thunder Fighter (to include the MK-III). Thank you once again for the kind words and encouragement.

BSG paint scheme Thunder Fighter
To continue this thread, I have started on the BSG Thunder Fighter.
This fighter will have the same detail as the first TF that I built earlier. So I will only highlight just the detailed parts that I add to the model. Here are the photos for your viewing pleasure: Detail of the engine section of the top body half. Full view of the top body half. Detail of the engine section of the bottom body half. Full view of the bottom body half close-up of rear console and side panels. I recessed the view screen and gauge screen, and raised the button panels. Close-up of the front console and side panels. I recessed the view screen and raised th button panels. Full shot of the nose of the cockpit interior. Close-up of the front nose piece. I recessed the dark area at the front of the piece and raised the rectangle that has the dark circle, and dented the circle. Full view of the cockpit interior. Side view of cockpit interior.

Wow! Awesome job! Love it, love it, love it...this is the simplest way to detail, but it looks sooooo good. I'm getting ready to detail one of Dave's houses this way. It is going to be a tutorial of sorts...but it yields great results, doesn't it?! Keep up the outstanding work!! Let me restate something...it is simple in concept...just raising or recessing details, panels, etc....it isn't really "easy" actually doing it...haha.

Update
Here is an update on my progress.
This is the top view of the rear engine section. As you can see, I have added the same detail as the first on that I made. These photos are close-up shots of the detail and to illustrate how I made the detail. Here is the cockpit interior mounted in place. These show more detail of the cockpit in place. This is the Landing gear bay. I did add a little detail tothe landing gear bay doors More detail on the bottom section of the plane. Here I assembled the back panel of the rear engine section. As you can see, it is not as detailed as the last one that I made. I forgot to add extra parts for the details (and I really did not want to waste paper and ink on just a few part), so I made do with what I had on hand. The back panel is mounted in place. Here are the front nose cones mounted in place More photos coming soon.

Well Ladies and gentlemen as promised, here is my next installment of the DETAILED TF PROJECT.
I am building the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUCK" Thunder Fighter that wsa flown by LT. Cornell Traeger in the episode "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUCK". I started with the cockpit interior, and as you can see I raised the buttons and keypad. I also recessed the screen . BTW, I know that I am totaly NUCKING FUTS for going for ths level of detail at 1:32 scale. Here is my new theme song for this project: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnzHtm1jhL4 Here are the photos. This is a single seat cockpit with cargo bench/trunk. This is a close-up of the buttons and keypad. This shows all of the detail on the contril panels. This is the front nose piece. ENJOY!!!
