Voyager Aerowing shuttle...someone?

As a fan of the saga of Star Trek, never really saw the Aerowing Shuttle flight of Voyager, we always knew of their existence as we saw in the bottom of the helmet, but never used, shame is an interesting model, maybe one of our star designers are encouraged to develop this model, in drex files page, refer to a sequence of decoupling but I failed to see, here is the link and tell me how they are doing, salute. :-/

RFN Thanks, I forgot that model, but it would be good to see other variants.

Why not try it yourself, nothing ventured, nothing gained.....??? I've got a real nice one that I started awhile back, but I'm bogged down with too many projects
now as it is. Good luck.

Honestly,I was disappointed with the design as revealed in the canon lit./sites. Just a runabout with wings.

It could be, it's good to venture into a project, and now with all the tools available for design, thanks for the advice.

Funny to see this, because the Aerowing was what got me started on my Runabout model. On my to-do list is an earlier version of the Aerowing, the Manta Shuttle. I even went so far as to contact Rick Sternbach about it, and got his input for converting his original sketch into a model.

I'd like to see that. I ran into Rick a few years back at WF and got a copy of his original Nova designs. He's a nice guy and interesting to talk to as are most of the Trek guys.
