Thanks for the update Neptune, those pics are really cool. Looks like it's coming along real nicely.

At first I just scaled it from A4 paper, as I don't have the unlock for the model, nor do I have the original model. After that I scaled it to 11X17" and that was still to small, so I took the file into photoshop and scaled it 300% from the 11X17 print, so technically I have no idea what the actual rescale is. All I know is that there is no way that I could build it in the scale it originally printed out as. My hands and eyes are not made for such small stuff.

I think I see some metallic gold paint in her future! Funny I was just thinking earlier today how pepakura designs lend themselves to just this sort of treatment to create a realistic and beautiful paper sculpture.

Metallic Gold paint is definately in her future. I've started on the back of her head as well, but it's going to have to be modified separately to bring it closer to what we see on screen. I've been saying that about card modeling for a long time and trying to show it for six years. I caught a lot of hell in the Garage Kit Community over that issue. LOL!

Thanks for the kind comments.

A few shots of actual construction, it's getting really close to being cast in a temporary cast, to be further modified for a finished model. Next I'll show the back of the head, the modifications and the molding process.

Next I add the eyes, fill in the tears ducts and finesse it for making a mold.
