ARC-170 scale....

Hello guys!! I`m planning on building a diorama of the battle of Coruscant. I`m allready building Anakin`s Eta-2, this is the thread Paper-Replika Eta-2 1/60?

It is a great model from Paper-Replika. After I finish this one I`ll do Obi`s fighter and also wana do the Arc-170 also from Paper-Replica. The cuestion for you guys is about the scale of the model... in the pdf says that the model measures 33.3 cm. I google it for dimensions of the "real" thing and the wingspan is 22.6 mts. If my mats are ok the scale is about 1/67.8, but I do not know, seems very large compared to the eta-2. I down scaled the eta-2 to 1/60 and fits 4 pages per sheet...if I down scale the ARC to 1/60 it fit 1 page per sheet. I know that the eta-2 is a very small fighter, but it is the arc-170 so large?in the movie doesn`t seem to be...maybe it`s the perspective...

any help will be much apreciated...

Yep, looks like your math is right. I used a scale calculator that is accurate and it came up with a 1/68 result.

If that blows your mind, take a look at the Republic Attack Gunships- they're HUGE! I am going to do one for my son as a Christmas present scaled to his 3.5 inch (8.89 cm) figures. When figuring the length it came up around 3-4' (91-120cm)!
