USS Excelsior NCC-2000
Started working on a new mesh of the Excelsior to create a 1/350 model to go along with the beautiful Enterprise. i was originally sent a 3D mesh to do a straight conversion (thanks Neptune and thokamous) but that one had so many problems that i decided to completely recreate it from scratch. so far i have gotten the main hull and the bridge started. i plan on this being the NCC-2000 as seen in "The Undiscovered Country" instead of the NX-2000 as seen in previous movies. the main difference being the change in the bridge and impulse engines on the saucer section and the cargo bay at the back of the ship.

i am hoping to make this at 1/350th scale to go along with Rawen's refit Enterprise
Dimensions Length: 146.07 cm Width: 55.9 cm Height: 24.79 cm it will take some time to complete the model so no rush on clearing out a spot just yet. i am also thinking about making two versions one for standard letter card stock and one for 11x17 for those with wide format printers. here is a small update on the bridge detail. |

Looking good, to bad the file I sent was of no use. I'm still looking for better textures, do you need anything like that?

yeah, desperately LOL i am also looking for better textures. i am hoping my old friends from Dynaverse might be able to help me/us out. being that the ship will be close to 5 feet long the higher resolution the better. Thanks Neptune.
