I suppose the easiest construction wouldbe a load of different coloured beachballs stuck together - ok, not papermodelling, but it'd be something to see.

Floral foam balls, not beachballs.

Remember, the bigger the project the more the weight of each individual piece comes into play. Eventually you reach a critical threshold where the structure will collapse.

Now stop making me visualize ways to actually do that.

You know you want to. (Only joking) stick to your Enterprise (for now).

If the next project (thinking way ahead) is a Klingon D7 then the obvious addition is the K7 station from 'Trouble with Tribbles'. OK , I'll stop now (honest), don't want a restraining order. Keep up the Enterprise build (still think you're nuts - but in a good way).

Just 'calling in' to ask if there's any build progress.

Minor progress, it's been on hold while I ramp up for business season.
Sept through Dec is $$ time for we illusionists.

But, I am working on it here and there. Should have an update with pics this weekend or next.

if it were me, I would make it a 3-d wall poster to save space (l and then you only have about 10% of work to do and it looks fairly real with a space background around it.

I see your point, space... but that's *not* me. If you've followed my builds in the past, you know I go whole hog or not at all.

Besides, my wife now demands I finish it.
