Chaffee Redux
I was needing a break from all those car models I've been doing, but I didn't want to get into a whole new project, yet, so I've taken the last few days to revamp my DS9 Chaffee shuttlecraft model.
I've resized it to 300 d.p.i., redone all of the surface details, and corrected several of the inaccuracies in the original. All I have left is doing a new test build and renumbering all of the parts, which was made necessary by some new details. I'll post some pics as soon as I start building it, and will add it to the Downloads section as soon as I know everything still fits. |

My friend.I just recently built your redone Chaffee shuttle, and the level of detail was oustanding. This new one I will find hard to top.One request if you find time to do it,and your interested. Please give the Delta flyer a shot. What you have done for the other Nijatoes builds, this one has your name all over it.Besides I know you will do justice to this kit, that it rightly deserves. Thanks in advance.Ed

Ed, the Delta Flyer is next on my list, as soon as I finish the Vintage Car project. I did this one because I needed a break from them. I've done so many versions they were starting to run together...

First page of the redo is finished, so I thought I would post a side-by-side comparison with the original. Opinions?

First test build of the revised model is underway. Finding lots of things that need tweaking and fine tuning. Amazing what can come from a simple resize/repaint...
