a prototype starfleet ship based on the galaxy class intrepid class and sovereign class it is not a commissioned starship so it does not have the uss or a normal registry number a ship would have in the late 24th early 25th century it is a testbed for the actual galaxy x class that will be built if this prototype testbed is sucsessful

instead of pandering to children after a sickening sex scene with the green floozy,
kirk running around with big hands, i would have much rather seen that time used to show kirk in the acadamy doing whatever made kirk so darn good. for ''rebooting the series in a new way'' as jar jar abrahms claimed, it seems like they just clipped all the dammit jims' and ive got to have more power's out and then had bozo the clown write the rest of it.
and if i see one more romulan mega weapon in a film, instead of a battle cruiser facing off with kirk, im going to puke, however, i would like to see the romulans become the new klingons, and the jja klingons become associates with the federation, including in having fedkling mixed designs. im sure that after the klingons got wiped out, that the romulans went on many many campaigns and took over a great big chunk of the galaxy, enough even to satisfy the preator's hunger.
