One of the things that was really stupid in the original series (in my opinion).
But the TV series was more geared towards kids, so I get it.
The movie was more adult, so it was an unnecessary add-on, I thought.

but yes, I loved the majority of that film and was really hoping for a sequel.

Keep in mind, I thought the original show was pathetic.
If it wasn't for a masterful Robot design, I could never have watched that farce!
I tried, and did, recently watch the entire series, but I still can't get past the low budget sets and silly story lines.

The movie J2 is quite complicated in shape.
Like the Robot!
Thats why I have never considered it.
Lol, don't mistake my statement for me saying I hated the film, I'm just acknowledging that it's... not the strongest work of film I've ever seen. Plus in a discussion with fans of the original show in the thread, it's best to cover my butt before they roast it for liking that film :P But yeah, I'd love a papercraft kit of that J2 and Robot. It would be great if the J2 had hyperdrive conversion parts, too.
